1. Measure Head Circumference:

   • Use a flexible measuring tape.
   • Wrap it around your head where the hat would sit—just above your ears and across the middle of your forehead.
   • Record the measurement in inches or centimeters.

2. Divide by $\pi$:

   • Use the formula:$$\text{Hat Size}=\frac{\text{Circumference}}{\pi }$$
   • $\pi$ is approximately 3.14159.

Example:

• If your head circumference is 22 inches:$$\text{Hat Size}=\frac{22}{3.14159}\approx 7\text{(US hat size)}$$

3. Convert to Hat Size Standards (if needed):
